Your name, as a flag

How it works
Your name is tidied (Unicode NFC, extra spaces removed, lower case) and split into letters the way you read them, so an accented letter, a Hangul syllable, an Indic letter with its vowel sign, or an emoji counts as one. Plain arithmetic on those letters and their Unicode code points picks the layout, bands, colours and emblem. Nothing is left to chance, and nothing leaves your browser.
Each design is compared with the colour patterns of national flags. If it comes too close, its colours turn 40° round the colour wheel until it no longer matches, and the page says which flag it avoided. The emblems are drawn from a fixed set of simple shapes, and hate codes are refused.
